| Mankotia: Omar support agenda of separatists | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Oct 9: The recent statement of chief minister, (CM) Omar Abdullah in the legislative assembly already shows that he (CM) is openly supporting the agenda of separatists, said MLA and state president of JKNPP Balwant Singh Mankotia at a press conference here today. Mankoita said Omar’s statement totally against the nation and as such his government should be dismissed and sent to jail. He said panther party will never bow before separatists ideology and added party has condemned the statement of Omar Abdullah describing accession by Maharaja Hari Singh in 1947 as conditional agreement and violating oath of allegiance to Indian constitution taken by CM. He said accession by Hari Singh in 1947 was under previous act 1935 (now act 1947) which has not any provision of conditioning. He said that congress is responsible for irresponsible statement of chief minister. He described the coalition government is like illicit relation between congress and NC because congress has given its official statement that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India, comments come two days after Omar’s remarks that J&K had not merged with India. Mankotia also said that if New Delhi governments keep mum on the issue and unable to stop the irresponsible statements of chief minister then the people of Jammu shall bound to start agitation.
