I will continue to fight against corruption: Shoaib Lone
District Congress President roughed up by party workers in Kishtwar.

Kishtwar October 9:- President Pradesh Youth Congress J &K and former MLA Sangrama Shoaib Lone reiterated that he will continue to fight against the corruption in Jammu and Kashmir and said that he had even raised voice against the menace of corruption before the nation leadership. He was replying to question asked by the media person in Kishtwar regarding his role as an MLA, when he on the floor Jammu and Kashmir Assembly discloses the name of the then PCC President and education minister Peerzada Mohammad Syed and forced congress party from removing him (Peerzada Mohammad Syed) from the post of PCC President as well as from the ministry. He said that despite being in Congress party, he will continue to fight against the corruption at party level as well as in the administrative set up.He said that corruption is main cause behind lack of development and also behind the present turmoil in the valley.
While giving details regarding the search of the youth talent, Shoiab said that the main aim and objective of this talent hunt is to look for the youth talent at grass root level rather appointing any person on various party posts while sitting in office. He said that under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi , many youth shows keen interest in joining the Congress party, as a result of which hundreds of youths through out Jammu and Kashmir applied for various party post in youth Congress. He said that more then 240 youths applied for Youth Congress party president in Doda and 135 in Kishtwar District. He said that the party is willing to move forward along with youths for the benefit of the people of the state. In a question regarding the criteria for selection of District Youth Congress President, Shoiab said that the youth president should be a qualified person and further said that the experience if any would be considered while making the appointment of the president after the interviews.
Meanwhile unprecedented scenes of chaos were witnessed in Dak Banglow Kishtwar during the Congress parties youth talent hunt launched by the youth Congress party in Jammu region, when some Congress party workers roughed up the senior Congress leader and District President Kishtwar Pardeep Singh Parihar by the Jughal Bhandari supporters who were alleging congress president Kishtwar and his men’s for supporting BJP and PDP in 2008 assembly election, in which Thakur Jughal Bhandari is the Congress party candidate from Kishtwar. Bhandari supporters who were raising slogans in favour of Ghulam Mohammad Saroori and Union Health Minister G.N Azad and were demanding for action against them for working against the party interest in Kishtwar District in 2008 assembly election. They demands for appointment of any youth, who had clean track record as a party worker. When contacted District President Congress Kishtwar Pardeep Singh Parihar termed the today’s incident as merely a frustration of those who manhandled him and said that the incident is any eye opener for the visiting party leaders. He said that the ball is now in the court of youth leadership who had himself seen the hooliganism of these party workers, who never supported him in building Congress party at Kishtwar. After seeing the situation getting out of control, the youth leaders come to the rescue of party District President Kishtwar and tries to pacify the situation and stops it getting worst. While addressing the agitating Bhandari supporters, Shoiab Lone urged them to maintain the discipline and slams both the sides for creating uproar. He advised the party leaders to put off their differences a side and play its vital role in building the youth congress in Jammu and Kashmir. While commenting on today’s incident Shoiab said that the issue pertains to the party high command and said that they will certainly bring the matter into the notice of party high command. He was accompanied by National General Secretary Arvind Singh Raja, Senior V.P Youth Congress Y.S Pathania, Manjeet Singh Neeraj Gupta, Nirdosh Sharma, Amit Chib, Sonu Dogra and Pranav Shibgotra.
