| Release funds for wages to casual labourers, Shastri | | |

President National Mazdoor Conference Subash Shastri has appealed to the Chief Minister to get funds released for early disbursement of wages to the casual labourers working in the Floriculture Department.
In a statement issued here today, Shastri has regretted that the wages of the poor casual labourers have not been released due to shortage of funds for the last six months as a result of which their families are facing financial strains.
Since the Department is directly under the control of Chief Minister it is imperative for good governance that the wages are disbursed to the labourers regularly on close of every month, he said adding that these labourers should be given necessary training in their fields so that they could prove more beneficial for the department.
