Jammu, Oct 10: The 513 Maharaja Agarsen Jayanti was celebrated with great pump and show by Aggarwal Biradari at Agarsen Bhawan Vivekanand chowk here today. Celebrations started with Hawan, and chanling of Mantars followed by Puran Ahuti for world peace and brotherhood. Aggarsen Jayanti is celebrated as the Birth day of Maharaja Agarsen born in the house of Maharaj Vallabh of Partap Nagar. Maharaja’s rule is known for his efficient and effective planning. He was very helpful to poor and needy. He was blessed with 18 sons represented by 18 Golari of Aggarwal Biradari.
On the occasion a colorful variety programme was presented by children of Aggarwal families meritorious students were also presented with trophies. The function was attended by large number of Aggarwals led by President Mahavir Prasad.
