The final line up has been drawn in Junior girl’s, women’s singles and sub junior girl’s in the ongoing Jammu District Table Tennis championship being played at Table Tennis Hall M.A. stadium. Deepinder to face Shzar for title clash in Junior girls. In the semifinals played today, Deepinder beat Deepkisha by 11-7, 11-9 and 11-3 in the first semifinal while Shzar outclassed Kriti Gupta by 11-9, 4-11, 11-8 and 11-4. The final line up is also been drawn in Women singles. Svera Singh will face Chand Preet Kour in the final. Earlier, in the first semifinal, Svera Singh beat Nidhi Arora by 11-8, 11-5, 8-11 and 11-6. In the second semifinal, Chand Preet Kour defeated Deepinder Kour by 11-8, 11-2 and 11-2 with consummate ease. In sub junior girls semifinal, Shazer beat Akshita by 11-9 and 11-9 whereas Lavanya Sharma humbled Tanvi by 11-4 and 11-6 quite comfortably. However in Men’s quarterfinals played today, Anil Gupta beat Vikrant by 11-9, 11-9 and 11-9, Sandeep beat Jyesh Singh by 4-11, 6-11, 15-13, 11-9 and 11-8 in a breathtaking contest to create one of the biggest upset of the tournament so far. In the third quarterfinal, Devam Puri beat Amit Gupta by 11-8, 11-9 and 11-9 and Arjun Kohli beat Ashish Basin by 11-8, 11-9 and 11-9.
