| SDS samiti install Ramdass as mahant of shiv mandir, Sidhra | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 11: Mahant Ram Jeevan Das was installed as mahant of Shiv Mandir, sidhra Jammu by the office bearers of Sadhu Dharamasthan Surakshini (SDS) Samiti. The installation of Mahant Ram Jeevan was done on behest of the authority of Bajrang Dev Baba Dharam Das mandir Sattu Barbar Shah, Srinagar, Kashmir.
Mahant Ram Dev had been looking after the administration and functioning of the said temple for last 8 years, in keeping with the order of J&K High court. He had been functioning as the trustee of the property and assets of the temple. Dr. Jairam who was installed as Mahant of the temple in the past by the samiti had left the place for last 8 years and hence all his rights and association with the temple had been withdrawn by the samiti.
Mahant was to be installed as Mahant of Shiv Mandir Sidhra Jammu at Srinagar on 27th June this year, but due to disturbed law and order conditions and shut downs in Kashmir the installation was postponed.
The installation function was held under the Chairmanship of Mahant Dutt Giri President of the Samiti in the presence of Rameshwar Giri gen. secy, Mahant Subash Shah working president, Mahant Rajesh Das of Vaishno Vairagi Mandal, Mahant Bajrang Dass Ji, Mahant Chander Muni, Mahant Ram Bindra Nand, Mahant Sangrah Giri, Mahant Gopal Dass and Mahant Inder Dass.
