| MLA Sharma demands separate PDD division at Nowshera | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 11: MLA, Radhay Sham Sharma in a statement that he has highlighted various most important and genuine demands pertaining to the development of Nowshera, a Border constituency during the current assembly session. While elaborating the details Sharma said that his dream has come true when despite of many hurdles created by some political vested interests, he continuously perused with the govt about an almost a dead issue for providing suitable Compensation to the Border Migrants of Nowshera Constituency and the issue which he again project through his starred question during the recent Assembly Session on 9th October, 2010 and convinced the Govt. during question hour for providing the compensations to the Border Migrants of Nowshera Constituency, got a positive response from the Govt. and Minister Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Deptts Raman Bhalla. Made a statement on behalf of the Govt assuring MLA Nowhera that a comprehensive plan of Rs. 20.00 crores for rehabilitation of 2000 Border Migrant families of 14 border villages of Nowshera constituency has been formulated and assured for the early settlement of all the Border Migrant Families of Nowshera Constituency and disbursement of compensations as well. Sharma thanked Omar Abdullah, and Bhalla, for their kind co-operation in to his long pending demand for providing compensation to the Border Migrants of the Nowshera Constituency.
MLA Nowshera has also projected demands for the establishment of independent PDD Division at Nowshera, demand creation of post of SDM at Sunderbani and sanctioning Sub District Headquarter status for Sunderbani, Degree College for Sunderbani, Revision of BPL survey lists by properly identifying real BPL families in the Nowshera Constituency by visiting their door steps so that benefits of the schemes of State Govt Central Govt reaches to them in time. Sharma also demanded early laying of foundation stones for staring the construction work of buildings of Govt. Degree College Nowshera on the already identifying land, also early laying foundation stone for the ITI College at Nowhera.
