| NSUI protests over CM’s statement | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua Oct 11: The National Student Union of India unit district Kathua organised a massive protest over the anti-national statements made by CM Omar Abdullah at police lines road, Kathua.
The protest was held under the leadership of district president Paramjeet Singh along with the president NSUI unit GDC Kathua Amrish Singh Jasrotia.
Both the presidents criticised the CM for flaring up the statements in which he had stated that the accession to Jammu and Kashmir was an agreement but not merger, which has hurt the sentiments of the entire India.
The NSUI activists urged the central government to constitute firm committee to probe inot the anti-national statements made by Omar Abdullah on the floor of the assembly. In the protest, vice president Navdeep Singh, General Secretary Akhil Gupta, Vinay Kumar, Vishal Sharma and Kuldeep and others were present.
