| Army jawans’ body recovered | | Four killed in road accident, two succumb to injuries | |

Three members of a family including a 4- year child were among four killed in a road accident near Hajan Bridge in Budhal, two others injured in separate road accidents succumbed to their injuries, while bodies of a pilgrim and army jawan were recovered.
A Police spokesman said that a water tanker NO JK02B/1897 attached with NCA Budhal met with an accident near Hajan Bridge resulting on the spot death of Bhajan Singh son of Gopal Singh, Driver, Dilay Ram son of Bilu Ram, his wife Kaki Devi and his 4 year child all residents of Tali Chasanna Mahore.
In the meantime, Yashpaul son of Bikru of Grant Ranjan Gharota and Charanjit Singh son of Kirpal Singh of Punjab who were injured in separate accidents succumbed to their injuries in GMC hospital here.
The spokesman said that a body identified as Suresh Chander son of Jagmal Singh resident of Bachar District Ajmeer serving in Army was found at Chann Rorian falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Raj Bagh while body of a Vashnovdevi pilgrim identified as Shanti Devi wife of Krishsan Saxena of Bhagwan Nagar Kurushetra Haryana was brought in Adhkuwari and later shifted to CHC Katra for postmortem.
The spokesman said that 17-year Methon son of Taras resident of Baba Talab Jammu was brought dead by his brother at GMC. The deceased had received electric shock at his home.
