JWAM seek Congress’ clearance over CM’s statement | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Oct 12: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has asked Congress to clear its stand on Chief Minister’s Omar Abdullah speech over J&K status and its accession with India. In a press statement issued here today, JWAM president Sunil Dimple urged upon the Congress Party president Sonia Gandhi and the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to clear their stand on the accession of Jammu and Kashmir with India and also take serious note on Omar’s speech. He further urged upon the Congress Party to immediately withdraw support from the National Conference and demanded imposition of Governors rule in the state. ‘Omar Abdullah even did not consulted his father Farooq Abdullah before delivering this speech as Farooq has recently categorically said that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of the India’, he maintained. He asked the Chief Minister to tell the people about the achievement of his 20 months of coalition Govt. He alleged that no development has taken place in Jammu region since when he has become the Chief Minister of the state and said “Either full fill his commitments or quit the Chair”. He appealed President, Prime Minister and UPA Chair person to impose Governor’s Rule in the state to end present crises in J&K.
