| Kho-Kho: Title holders MAM College in semis | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 12: Defending champion, Government MAM College sailed into the semi-finals outplaying Government Degree College Doda in the ongoing inter-college men’s kho-kho competitions at University of Jammu grounds, here today.
Dominating the fields both in defence and attack, MAM boys registered a big one turn and five points win to become first team to reach the last four stages.
In the meantime, last year’s runners-up, GGM Science College, PG Departments, Government SPMR College of Commerce and Government Degree College Udhampur also made it into the next round of quarterfinals today.
Earlier, in the pre-quarterfinals, Science College trounced Government Degree College Ramnagar by an innings and seven points. Udhampur College also won their tie against Government Degree College Akhnoor in similar fashions taking away the match by a margin of an innings and nine points.
Other two matches ended in walkovers with PG Departments getting walkover Government Degree College Bani. Commerce College also got walkover.
Today’s matches were officiated by Anil Sharma and Ajay Gupta.
