| Shiromani Dera Nagali Sahib Poonch inaugurates SSS | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 12: Sikh Sudhar Sabha (SSS) Akhnoor was inaugurated by Shiromani Dera Nagali Sahib Poonch.
Prominent Sikh personalities and presidents of local Gurudwaras from Akhnoor participated in the function.
A meeting of the religious personalities was also held under the chairmanship of Mahant Manjit Singh. After the function lecturers were also delivered.
Jagit Singh, President Sikh Sudhar Sabha Akhnoor addressed the gathering and said that Sabha shall work under the guidelines of Dera Nagali Sahib in every field of life for welfare of the Sikh community.
There should be two meetings in every month. He praised Dera Nagali Sahib and a siropa was also presented to Mahant Manjit Singh.
Mahant Manjit Singh expressed the happiness and satisfaction for the effects of Sikh Sudhar Sabha Akhnoor for taking interest into the affairs of the community. He stressed upon the Sikh Sangat of Akhnoor to be united and be aware of the antipanthic forces and work for the betterment of the community.
Others who took participated in the function were Jaswant Singh, General Secretary, Swaran Singh, Vice-President, Lal Singh, Cashier, Dalip Singh, Publicity Secretary Lakbir Singh, Chairman Management Committee, Baba Sunder Singh Gurudwara, Arjun Singh, Mala Singh, Niranjan Singh, Reshpal Singh, Surjit Singh and etc.
