| Army organizes Medical Camp at Lalpura | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, Oct 12: A medical camp was organised by 35 Rashtriya Rifles/ Headquarters 12 Sector Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Victor Force at Village Lalpura with the aim of providing medical aid to the populace residing in remote areas by synergising the medical resources of both the civil administration and the Army in rendering medical assistance to the populace.
The effort was appreciated by the locals in addressing their medical problems. 11 doctors were on location that treated 469 patients during the medical camp besides extending free medicines and necessary Out Patient Department facilities. The camp also focused on educating the civil populace on preventive and social medicine.
The locals expressed their gratitude towards the Army for reaching out to the local populace, for such noble cause.
