Srinagar, Oct 12: Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir, Legislative Assembly, Mohammad Akbar Lone has constituted a Select Committee following adoption of Motion, moved by MLA Kupwara Mir Saifullah on “The Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Law (II-Amendment Bill 2010), L. A. Bill No. 29 of 2010.
The Committee has been directed to submit its report to the House upto the last day of the next session.
The Committee will comprise of nine members viz Saifullah Mir, A.R. Veeri, M.Y. Tarigami, Balwant Singh Mankotia, Jagdish Raj Sapolia, Abdul Rashid, Aijaz Ahmad Jan and Vikar Rasool.
Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Tara Chand will be Chairman of the Committee.
