| TTDF demands induction of Niaz in the cabinet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 12: Tehsil Thathri Development Front (TTDF) in a meeting chaired by Kuldeep Kumar Rao President of the Front urged the UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Pardesh Congress President Saif-Ud-Din Soz to take Mohammad Sharif Niaz MLA Bhaderwah as R&B Minister in place of G.M. Saroori. As there are numerous development works going on in the district especially in Tehsil Thathri and Gandoh Niza being local of tehsil Gandoh knows every nook and corner of both the Tehsils and problems of the people.
Rao also demanded District Status for Bhadarwah. Kishtwar has been made district and Bhadarwah tehsil established in 1947, been bifurcated in to three separate full fiedge Tehsils i.e Tehsil Bhadarwah, Tehsil Thathri and Tehsil Gandoh. The combined population of these three Tehsils in more than the population of newly created Kishtwar District and much more than that of many newly creates Districts of Kashmir. Keeping these facts in view old undivided Bhadarwah Tehsil Bhadarwah, Gandoh and Thathri deserves to be a full fledged District with its head quarter at some central place which cab be either Chinta or Upper Joura.
Rao also regretted that despite the tall claims of Health Minister Sham Lal Sharma that he is doing his best to mitigate the sufferings of the people, many genuine cases have been grossly ignored. As far upgradation of health sub-centre Joura Kalan to PHC is concerned, the favorable feasibility report form Director Health Services Jammu on the direction of then Divisional Commissioner Jammu is lying in the office of Secretary Health Department of J&K government for the last five years.
