| Adbi Kunj holds literary meet | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 13: Adbi Kunj Jammu today organized another special multi-coloured literary meet at its literary centre in the premises of New Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School (NSMHSS) Jammu.
The meet was organised in the honour of most respected guest from Pakanpur in Orissa Bijaya Kumar Mohapatra who editor monthly children Magazine Piyari Behan, which is published in 100 languages. Meet was presided over by President of the organization Sham Talib while Hindi Poet Raj Kumar Uttam conducted the proceedings.
Addressing the gathering, Sham Talib said that various literary figures of different states of the country are aware of Adbi Kunj. Sham Talib introduced Mohapatra with the participants. Addressing the gathering, Vijaya Mohapatra said that it is our duty to promote sense of literature among the children.
The meet also presented the condolence resolution, in which rich tributes were paid to Dr. Ganga Dutt Shastri on his demise. Prof. Shastri was poet and former Head of Department Sanskrit, Govt. MAM College, Jammu. He was also a guide friend of Adbi Kunj. Other poets who participated in the meet included Dr. Bharat Bushan Gupta, Muni Lal Puri, Com. Jaswant Singh, K.L. Dewana, Raj Kumar Uttam, Sanjeev Kumar, Awtar Krishan, Ganjoo Sehar, Rajeev Kumar, Ram Lal Gulab, Ravi Rohmetra, Karan Gupta and Sham Talib. Vote of thanks was presented by Chief Organizer Com. Jaswant Singh.
