Panun Kashmir exhorts for commitment to achieve homeland goal

Jammu, Oct 13: Panun Kashmir organized “All India Activists Meet” on Wednesday. The activists of Panun Kashmir from different parts of the country participated in this meet.
Convener Panun Kashmir Dr. Agnishekhar while addressing the meet emphasized upon the activists to imbibe the qualities of commitment, hardwork, agility, political acumen and to be ready for any sacrifice for achieving the desired and cherished goal of Homeland.
Agnishekhar highlighted the long traditions of sacrifices made from time to time from Kripa Ram Dutt to Birbal Dhar and by the scores of Panun Kashmir activists who laid their lives to reverse and stop ethnic cleansing, genocide and safe guard the honour and dignity of the community in Kashmir Valley.
He emphasized upon Panun Kashmir activist to inculcate and strengthen the resolve of Kashmiri Pandits all over the world for preserving the culture and heritage which is one of the powerful instrument for sustaining the distinct community character in exile.
Kamal Hak drew the attention of activists to the quality of inputs needed for the movement of Panun Kashmir which has its genesis in the first exodus of KPs some 700 years back from Kashmir Valley. He also pointed towards current political challenges, the state of J&K is facing which has a over bearing impact on Kashmiri Pandits in exile.
Sanjay raina senior activist of Panun Kashmir while addressing the activists threw light on policy, planning and programs of Panun Kashmir.
In the meeting the orginational structure came into existence where Vijay Kautse was elected as president of Panun Kashhmir, Kamal Hak from Noida was elected as national spokesman. Vijay Handoo from Ghaziabad was elected as vice president. Five National coordinators for North Zone, National Capital Region, West Zone, South Zone and Youth Affairs were also elected. Sanjay Dattatreya, Rajinder Kaul, Rahul Kaul, Rahul Razdan and Veer Wangoo were elected for the respective zones. Professor M.K.Raina was elected as chairman Political Affairs Committee. Shiban Krishen Khaibri Chairman Press & Media Committee, R K Koul as Chairman Finance committee. One state organizing secretary and Eight other Secretaries for the above mentioned committees were also elected. The core committee as well as Jammu Working Council of Panun Kashmir was also declared on this occasion. The tenure of these responsibilities has been fixed for one year. The convener Panun Kashmir Dr. Agnishekhar was authorized to nominate the unfilled vacancies of the organization in the coming months including two vice presidents.
