| Amandeep murder: Prosecution concludes arguments on charge | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 13: In a much publicised murder case of Amandeep Singh s/o Deepinder Kour, Ex-MLC and Advocate who was killed on August 29, 2009, today the prosecution concluded arguments on charge whereas the defence partly completed their arguments except accused Satnam Singh, SI, then IO and Jaggar Singh, who is presently on bail.
The 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Jammu, Vinod Chatterji Koul today fixed October 18 for further arguments by defence on charge/ discharge.
All the accused namely Jatinder Singh alias Raja, Royal Singh, then SSP Manohar Singh, then SHO Sultan Mirza, Sub-Inspector Satnam Singh, Battastic Expert FSL Sujat Bukari, Constable Raj, Choudhary Nagar Singh, Choudhary Rakesh Singh, except Choudhary Jagar Singh present in custody whereas Choudhary Jaggar was present with his counsel. It is worthwhile to mention here on August 29, 2009 the murder of Amandeep Singh s/o Former MLC & Advocate presently PDP leader Deepinder Kour. The main accused Jatinder Singh s/o Choudhary Nagar Singh was arrested on August 30, 2009 and accused Royal Singh was also arrested and later and weapon of offence was recovered from them. It was alleged that the weapon of offence was allegedly changed by the Choudhary brothers by hatching criminal conspiracy with the police officers and FSL officials, all the police officials & FSL officials were arrested in fudging of evidence whereas the Choudhary brothers surrendered before the Court on November 17, 2009.
