Madan Lal holds public meeting at Sainik Colony, Lale-Da-Bagh

Madan Lal Sharma, Member Parliament of Jammu-Poonch constituency holds a public meeting at Ward No.70 Sainik Colony here today.
In his address, Sharma said Sainik colony is an extended area of the city as such needs a rapid development. He further said that it is because of the Congress led Coalition Govt. headed by Ghulam Nabi Azad, that Colony has been included in Jammu Municipality limits. He gave Rs. Five lakh for the construction of community hall and Rs 3 lakhs for development of parks in the ward Rs.1 Lakh was also sanctioned by MLC Arvinder Singh Micky, Madan Lal also appreciated the role of Azad Sahib for making J&K a Khushal state.
Earlier, Namrata Sharma Corporator of the ward welcomed the chief gust and demanded that the area being one of the largest wards needs immediate attention. Beside she demands up gradation of primary health centre and ambulance for the area. She also said that the existing parks in the area should be developed for women and children Govt. middle school in the ward be upgraded to high school level of Rajiv Sharma, Sr. Congress leader co-ordinated the whole programme. Others who were present on the occasion include MLC, Arvinder Singh Micky Mayor Manmohan Choudhary Corporators, Bansi Lal Gupta, Jai Singh, Kamal Singh, Manmohan Singh, Uttam Singh, Lalita Sharma, Santosh Magotra, Zaffar Khan,Balwant Singh Ballu, Parveen Gupta, Satish Sharma, Paramjeet Singh, Inderjeet Kour and others.
While addressing an another public meeting at Lale-Da-Bagh, NaiBasti said doors for negotiation are always open for those who are interested to bring normalcy in the trouble torn state. Sharma said, since Azad Sahib took our as chief minister of the state there has been a sea change as for development in the state is concern. CM is very keen for equitable development of all the three regions of the state. He said most of the promises made during election have been fulfilled. The bold decisions taken by CM in implementing Wazir Commission recommendations, constitution of finance and delimitation commission and praise the chief minister in this regard. He urged upon the people to be more vigilant against those elements who are bent upon to create problems in the peaceful atmosphere of the state.
On the occasion various demands were put forth by the people, which include opening of dispensary, water point, repair of road and nalla. Sharma assured the gathering that the demands will be fulfilled soon. On spot he sanctioned an amount of Rs. 1.5 lakh for water point form his constituency fund.
Among other who spoke on the occasion were Sr. Congress leader, Shamshir Singh, Ex-Sarpanch Raman Sharma,R.C Sharma, and Om Prakash.
