196 Rajouri Poonch aspirants leave for Hajj | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, Oct 13: Atleast 196 Muslims left Rajouri Poonch to Saudi Arabia on holy pilgrimage of Hajj. Another batch to follow these people in two or three days. As per reports, 79 Muslims of Rajouri district today left Rajouri for performing Hajj in Makkah and Madina cities of Saudi Arabia. These Hajjis were given warm send off by the district administration and relatives and were provided government buses to ferry them upto Jammu from where they have to fly on the forward Yatra. These Hajjis were seen enthuasitic while starting holy journey. “I was waiting this day for he last many decades and now almighty God summoned me for performing Hajj”, Mohammad Din a Hajj aspirant said adding that he is leaving on holy Yatra and will pray to God for lasting peace in this state. Another Hajj aspirant Mohammad Sharief said that this is the happiest day in his life when he is leaving to Hajj. He desire to die during Hajj. Earlier 117 Hajj aspirants from Poonch left for holy Journey in the first batch. Among the total 117 Hajjis of Poonch, 36 are women while 35 belongs to Mendher, 26 from Surankote, 32 from Poonch and 24 from Mandi area. Starting their holy journey, all the Hajjis prayed for lasting peace to this state. They said that they will offer special Duwa during Hajj for return of peace to this state. Meanwhile administration has made sufficient facilities available for ferrying these Hajjis to Jammu. They have installed buses and security is also being given to them. As soon as they will enter in the jurisdiction of Jammu, Divisional Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Jammu has been kept responsible for the arrangements of the Yatries.
