| Symposium on ‘Men’s Contribution in Balancing Environment’ held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 13: A symposium on ‘Men’s Contribution in Balancing Environment’ was organized in the EJMC college campus.
Fifteen participants spoke on the concerned topic.
Youdhvir Singh, principal of the college was the chief guest in the function. He, while addressing the students spoke that desire is the root cause of all evils including degeneration of environment.
He also said that environment can be balanced by protecting air, water and soil from being polluted, and only the human can contribute, to protect the environment by way of planting trees.
Deachen Chorol, B.Sc part-IInd stood first in the symposium whereas. Stanzin Tamchos B.A part-I and Sonia Thapa B.A part-III grabbed second and third place respectively.
Consolation prizes were also given to Stanzin Angmo B.Sc part-I and Marjuma B.Sc part-II.
The adjudicators in the programme were Sonam Yagzes, Deskyong Namgyal and Tashi Ldawa.
Programme was compared by Rinchen Angmo who also presented a vote of thanks.
