| BDO Darhal hold camp at Ujhan | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Oct 14: In continuation of his efforts to create maximum awareness about rural development schemes in block Darhal, Block Development Officer Darhal organised a mega awareness camp about various Rural Development schemes including at Ujhan.
As per reports, BDO Darhal RK Khajuria oragnaised awareness programme at village Ujhan to aware public about various state and central sponsored schemes. MLA Darhal constituency Choudhary Zulfiqar Ali was chief guest on the occasion.
The residents listened to different resource persons about all the schemes especially Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MG-NREGA) and appreciated the working of BDO in block Darhal.
On this occasion about 60 cheques worth 12 lakhs pertaining to MG-NREGA, IAY and TSC were distributed to the poor beneficiaries through MLA Darhal constituency Zulafkar Ali who also very vocally praised the integrity and working of the department and exhorted upon it to accelerate further the pace of development in block Darhal so that the benefit of rural development schemes percolate on the ground to the poorest of poor.
Assistant Commissioner Development, Subash Sharma also spoke at length on this occasion about various schemes.
