He said the exit of all empty trucks beyond Lower Munda Check Post on Srinagar-Jammu national highway has been forbidden until fruit season is over. Dr Syed said the truck owners and drivers are impressed upon to carry fresh fruit on their return, which shall be a must transition till end of February 2011. Enforcement agencies, including Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) squad, have been instructed to divert the empty trucks. Any attempt by the truck owners and drivers to violate the direction would attract punitive action, he warned.
