Impersonator held in matric exam | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Oct 14: Chadwal police today arrested an impersonator who was giving bi-annual exam conducted by JKBOSE in place of the Class 10th student in High Secondary School, Chandwan at Hiranagar. On specific information, Chadwal police led by SDPO Sukh Dev Raj Bhasin conducted a raid in the examination centre and arrested the impersonator identified as Ashish Sharma son of Uttam Singh resident of village Bathedal, Jammu . On the disclosure of Ashish, police arrested the kingpin of the racket Makal Singh son of Naseeb Singh resident of village Bathedal, Jammu. Makal persuaded Ashish to give Biology exam in place of his cousin brother Parveen Singh, son of Uttam Singh, a resident of village Banthirty, Hiranagar. For the purpose a deal of Rs 6,000 was done for each paper. During scrutiny of the admit card bearing roll number 364173, police came to know that the photo of Ashish was scanned on the roll number of Parveen to hide his identity. Police after registering case against the trio informed the JKBOSE for further action. Manhunt to arrest Parveen was on till late hours. |
