Dogra Law College wins by 30 runs, enter QFs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 15: Dogra Law College today moved into the third round of quarterfinals outplaying Government Degree College Kishtwar by 30 runs in the ongoing inter-college cricket tournament on the campus, here. Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, Dogra College set a target of 133 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs, which, in reply, Kishtwar College could not chase and bowled out for 102 runs in 17.2 overs. Dheeraj was top scorer with 21-ball 32 runs while Gourav Khajuria and Amulya Gupta contributed 25 and 23 runs respectively. From Kishtwar College, Ravi Parihar took two wickets. Later, Kishtwar College could not resist the Dogra College bowling attack and bowled out for 102 runs in 17.2 overs. Rajnish Sharma made maximum 29 runs, followed by Sameer and Kirti Bhushan, who added 13 and 10 runs respectively. Ranbir was most successful bowler from Dogra College with three for 25 in three overs. Ashwani and Amulya took one wicket each. Now, Dogra Law College shall take on the formidable side of PG Law and Sciences on October 20. Today’s match was officiated by Chander Kiran, Mohit and Manu Khajuria.
