| Humming Birds celebrates Dussehra | | | Early Times Report

Humming Buds, the preschool of Model Academy today celebrated Dussehra at both the B C Road and Residency Road campus.
The buds of the preschool came in their traditional dresses. A movie based on Ramayana was also shown to the Buds to have the knowledge of various characters in the film. Students of different levels took parts in various other group activities which includes making of an effigy of Ravana by O Level, making of a card of goddess Durga by A level to make them aware of Durga Puja. To seek the blessings of goddess Durga A+ level performed another interesting activity in form of accepting one of their bad habits in written form. The students buried this piece of paper in which the bad habit was written & prayed to goddess to help them get rid of the bad habit by next Dussehra. The effigy of Ravana was not burnt as ‘the buds’ were also given the concept of smokeless & noiseless celebrations in order to have a healthy environment.
Principal, B.C. Road school. Puneet Basur, Principal, Residency Road school Rupa Gupta, Vice Principal Usha Gadoo and Gayatri Kotwal incharge, primary wing were also present on this occasion. Dr. Arun K Gupta Chairman, Dr Renu Gupta Director with Dr Adit Gupta, Jt Director MIER also praised the teachers and students for their efforts and correlating different concepts through this celebration and greeted on this occasion.
