| Bootlegger held with illicit liquor | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 15: Rajouri police launched a special drive against menace of illicit liquor. During the special drive police arrested one person while 72 pouches of J&K Excise (liquor) were recovered from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Kamal Lal of Balashama.
Reports said that Police party of Police Station Sunderbani established a special Naka near Bus Stand Sunderbani and they intercepted one person who ignored the signal which created suspicious to the Naka team, they chased and overpowered him.
During search, 72 Pouches of liquor were recovered from his possession.
The accused was booked under section 48-A Excise Act.
