ABVP to celebrate accession day as ‘National Integration Day’

Jammu, Oct 15: In the history of J&K 26th October 1947, is a landmark as it was on the day the state of Jammu and Kashmir became the integral part of independent India, and as such the Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has decided to celebrate this historic day as national integration day said senior leader of ABVP Ajay Sharma while addressing the media persons here today.
He on the occasion appeals the student communities in different educational institutions to celebrate this important day with the participation of maximum number of students as well as teachers and feel proud to be Indian. He said in different colleges, hostels and university campus ABVP is going to make this event as historic and this national integration day will be celebrated with great enthusiasm every year. He on behalf ABVP appeals student community to pay homage to student martyrs ABVP further appeals to the student community to pay their homage to those heroes who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Jammu.
Most of the institutions remain close or there is no work as black days and students perceive these days as holidays. In this regard ABVP appeals that students in large number should come to the Shaheedi Sthal to admire the sacrifies made by the brave students for the case of student community.
He further said ABVP demands CBI Inquiry into nominations in health and para medical education course and added. ABVP condemns the corruption in the state government in which the cabinet ministers of the state government are involved in nominations made to MBBS and paramedical courses by the ministers of medical and health education. ABVP demands sacking of Umar Abdullah led Govt. which has failed at every level and now the confession of cabinet minister of charges of nominating candidates to MBBS and paramedical courses without entrance test, ignoring the deserving meritorious candidates has justified ABVP’s demand of sacking such ministers and government.
