8.77 lakh pilgrims pays obeisance at Shiv Khori | | | Early Times Report REASI, Oct 15: Keeping in view the increasing popularity and religious importance of the Shiv Khori Shrine Cave, over 8.77 lakh pilgrims from with in and out side the state have visited and paid obeisance at the historic Shiv Khori Shrine Cave during the ongoing calendar year so far.
Last calendar year, about 6.99 lakh pilgrims had darshan at the Cave Shrine during the same period thus registering an increase of about 1.77 lakh pilgrims this year.
It was disclosed by the District Development Commissioner, Reasi Mr. P.K. Pole who is also the Vice Chairman of Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board here at Reasi today.
The number of visiting pilgrims is increasing day by day and presently 2500 to 3000 devotees are visiting daily at the cave shrine for darshan.
The Shiv Khori Shrine Board under the over all supervision of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu who is the Chairman and District Development Commissioner, Reasi who is the Vice Chairman is making all out efforts to provide all basic infrastructural facility to the visiting pilgrims right from the base camp Ransoo to the cave shrine.
