| Congress workers hold meet | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 15: A meeting of Congress workers was held today at Shahen Talab (Badori) Vijaypur constituency. The meeting was presided over by Cong(i) block president, Bashir Ahmed. Former minister Manjit Singh was the chief guest in the meeting. While addressing the meeting Manjit strongly condemned the chief minister’s statement made in the assembly regarding accession of the state with Indian Union. He however said that the accession of the sate with India is the final and permanent, which should not be questioned by any person. The leaders who question the accession of the state should shut their mouths. He also urged upon the party workers to work for the forthcoming panchayat elections. The local workers also apprised the minister to resolve their various problems.
