Bandipora children return after educational tour | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT UDHAMPUR, Oct 15: An Educational Tour conducted for children of Bandipora District, Sonawari Tehsil organised by 13 Rashtriya Rifles (Kumaon) Headquarters 3 Sector Rashtriya Rifles was flagged in, after completing its 11 days journey covering Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Agra, from Oct 10 to Oct 14. The tour comprised of a group of 35 children in the age group of 10-12 years who were accompanied by two teachers from Hajan, Sonawari Tehsil of Bandipora District. As part of the tour the students visited Wagha/ Attari Border, the children were mesmerized to see the drill at Wagha Border. One of the students Master Waseem of Class VIII was so excited to see the same that he conveyed his salutation to the Border Security Force and expressed desire to join the elite Armed Force of India. The children also visited the Taj Mahal, The Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, Sikandra and numerous other places of interest. The group of children had expressed great enthusiasm and unparallel spirit during their visit. The teachers expressed their happiness that this tour had in a true sense channelised these young Kashmiri minds to choose the right path in their lives.
