SDP leader Naresh joins PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 15: Prominent leader of Socialist Democratic Party (SDP) Naresh Koul today resigned from his party and joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the function which held today at PDP office Jammu. Naresh Koul had contested last assembly election from Anantnag assembly segment. Speaking on the occasion, Naresh Koul said that he has decided join the PDP due to policies and programmes of the party. He said that Mufti Mohammad Sayeed as Chief Minister of the State has set an example of good governance. He further said that since its formation PDP has been advocating that dialogue is the only mean to solve all problems and this policy has been endorsed by successive governments at Centre. Koul said that in the present situation when state of Jammu and Kashmir has been passing through a crucial time it is need of the hours to strengthen hands of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti. He said that policies and programmes of PDP are formulated by incorporating wishes and aspirations of all sections of the society. Speaking on the occasion, PDP general secretary Thakur Balbir Singh welcomed Naresh Koul in the party and hoped with his joining PDP would be further strengthen. He asked Koul to spread message of the party and work for strengthening the party. Prominent among others who were present in the function included Tirlok Singh Bajwa, vice president, Hussain Ali Wafa, secretary, Falail Singh secretary, Ved Mahajan, Daman Bhasin, Shanti Devi and others.
