| Progressive farmer remembered on death anniversary | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, October 16: The farmers of Jammu division paid rich tribute to progressive farmer late sh. Chaman Lal Nand who died in an accident two year ago while he was gone to Delhi to participate in a Farmers camp.
In a Shardhanji Samaroh organized by J&K Agri Enterpreneurship Develpoment Association Jammu at Nehru Bhawan Jammu, many farmers remembered Chaman Lal Nand and paid rich tribute.
On this occasion president of Association Kulbhushan Khajuria said that Chaman Lal Nand was a very progressive farmer who showed the path of enlightenment to other farmers.
During the programme many farmers highlighted the problems related to farmers community and demanded that Govt immediately fix the prices of Basmati Paddy.
The leaders of J&K Agri Enterpreneurship Develpoment Association including Kulbhushan Sharma, Bansi Lal choudhary, Subash Dasgotra, Devak, Prakesh Chand, Saroop Sharma, Bodth Raj ,Raghunandan Khajuria, Balwant Singh, Ashwani Sharma, Narootam Singh, Pradeep Raj Bhagat, Jagdish, Pal Singh, Judish Singh, Om parkesh Sharma, Pawan Kesar, Barita Ram also participated in the samaroh.
