| YSCC to hold JK cricket league | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Doda, October 16: In order to boost up the cricket talent in Jammu and Kashmir, Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda would hold hold first ever Jammu Kashmir Cricket :League in Jammu and Kashmir.
Manzoor Ahmed Batt patron YSCC disclosed while addressing a press conference at Doda
Batt said that eight teams would be selected to participate in this cricket league where in the different private sectors companies would take the team on franchises basis.
However he informed said that a total of 15 matches will be played at different venues viz Udhampur, Jammu, Haryana, Kanpur and Delhi in which the interested player should first participate in the trial at their respective district and from where he would represent the 2nd and last trial at Jammu and qualify to participate in the team representing the State.
It is important to mention here that interested players from all over country are eligible to participate in this league and also the final of this league will be telecasted live on DD-Sports national channel from Delhi Stadium.
Butt furgter said that Divisional Commissioner Jammu Pawan Kotwal has assured to provide full support on behalf of the Govt. & also has directed all the DDC's
