| Apple kids celebrate Dusshera | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, October 16: Tiny toddlers of the ‘Apple Kids’ Sainik Colony, an international pre-school celebrated Dussehra with great enthusiasm.
Children dressed in colorful attires of Lord Rama, Mata Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman preformed excerpts from Ram Lila.
Children were told about the importance of this day, when Lord Rama killed the ten headed demon Ravana – which marks the victory of truth over evil.
An effigy of Ravana was put to flames symbolizing the end of evil.
Tiny toddlers who participated in Ram Lila include Nikshay Mehra of class Sr.KG as Lord Rama, Dhanishta Padhwal of class Jr.KG as Sita Mata, Naciket Singh of Jr.KG as Lakshman and Prabhustat Singh of Pre.KG as Hanuman.
