Panthers urge PM to sack FM Krishna | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, October 16: Bhim Singh, Chairman, JKNPP and member, National Integration Council (NIC) today urged Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India to sack S.M. Krishna, Foreign Minister for his highly irresponsible, misleading and anti-national statement he made while praising J&K Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah for declaring that J&K is not integral part of India. Several Panthers Party activists set effigy of S.M. Krishna, ablaze condemning his statement supporting and justifying Omar Abdullah’s claim that Jammu and Kashmir is not ‘integral part of India’. The Panthers Party demanded dismissal of Krishna and trial in the court for his seditious treatment harming India’s interest at home and abroad. The Panthers Party activists led by Anita Thakur state general secretary said “We the people of Jammu and Kashmir deplore and condemn the irresponsible, anti-national, unconstitutional and seditious statement of S.M. Krishna and urge Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India to dismiss Krishna without any delay as Nehru did with Sheikh Abdullah in 1953 when the latter had challenged the J&K Accession as Prime Minister of J&K. We also call on all nationalists, patriotic and secular political parties to condemn S.M. Krishna’s statement as anti-national”. Others who participated in the protest inbclued Raghubir Singh Billoria and S. Paramjeet Singh Marshall provincial vice-presidents, Naresh Chib and S.D. Khajuira provincial secretaries , Shanker Singh Chib district president Jammu Rural, Rakesh Gupta and Manoj Kumar provincial secretaries Young Panthers, Kamal Singh Jamwal, Anil Rakwal, Sunil Sharma, Banik Gupta, and others
