PDP accuses NC of betraying people

JAMMU, Oct 16: People Democratic Party (PDP) today accused National Conference of betraying people by making false promises of addressing the issue of unemployment.
In a handout issued here today, PDP leader Shahzad Khan today said that during 2008 Assembly elections, National Conference pledged to give employment to at least one unemployed in every household even if the person is middle pass. He added that even after two years, the
promise is yet to be fulfilled.
He said that schools are in pathetic condition. Lambasting the failure of the government to implement the RTI Act, Khan said that proper execution of the Act will not only make the authorities accountable but also improve working of the system. Khan said that government has
disappointed people of the state in all spheres.
He said that the procedure of dialogue advocated by PDP is the only solution to the Kashmir issue. Others who spoke on the occasion included Choudhary Ghani, Choudhary Manzoor, Shabir Mirza, Nadeem Sheikh, Jahangir Khan, Zaka-ullah- Beigh and others.
