| Court grants bail to Patwari | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 16 (JNF):- Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu AK Koul has granted bail to accused Mohd Rashid Patwari Aakal Satwari who was caught red-handed by VOJ on October 12, 2010 while accepting bribe Rs 1500/- from the complainant.
While granting bail to accused, the court after hearing Advocate ZA Chouhan appearing for the petitioner and CPO Purshtom Sharma appearing for the VOJ , allowed the bail application of the petitioner and directed the VOJ to release the petitioner from custody provided he furnishes a personal bond in the amount of Rs 25000/- and a surety in the like amount with the direction that the accused/ petitioner would however desist from coming in contact with the witnesses or influencing them in any manner what so ever.
