| Nami Dogri Sanstha organizes musical programme | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 16: Youth Wing of Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) today organised a Dogri musical programme "TRIKUTA DI GOONJ" on the concluding day of Navratras at K. L. Sehgal Hall of Abhinav Theater here today.
Veteran Journalist and Secretary General, Press Club of Jammu Sohail Kazmi was the Chief Guest. Additional Secretary of Cultural Academy Prof. Savita Bakshi was the Guest of Honour. Renowned Singer Prof. Anupma Sharma was the special Invitee.
Dogra Harish Kaila and Yash Pal 'Yash' were the Special Guests. Renowned Urdu short storey writer, poet S.S.Anand Lehar presided over the function. Programme started with lighting of traditional lamp on the concluding day of Navratras.
Sohail Kazmi while speaking on the occasion appreciated young singers who sang devotional songs and congratulated all those present on the concluding day of Navratras. Prof. Savita Bakshi, Prof. Anupma Sharma, Dogra Harish Kaila and Yash Pal'Yash' also spoke on the occasion.
S. S. Anand Lehar in his presidential address congratulated the young artists on the occasion and prayed that Mata Vaishno Devi will bless all of us and also appreciated the efforts of President, Youth Wing of Nami Dogri Sanstha Nidhi Kaila.
Singers were Nidhi Kaila, Preeti Sharma, Supriya Sharma, Manju Bala, Pallvi Rajput, Khushi Premi and Vishal Gupta. Devotional songs were composed by Yash Pal Yash. The Programme was compared by Kumari Supriya Singh Chauhan. Welcome address and vote of thanks was presented by Yash Pal Yash. Lyrics of K. K. Shakir, Inderjeet Kesar and Yash Pal Yash were presented by young singers. Senior member of Nami Dogri Sanstha Vishal Gupta also presented a devotional song in the programme.
