| Migrants demand appointment orders | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 16: Kashmiri Pandit youth selected under “Migrant Employment Package” staged a peaceful “Dharna” under the banner of Migrant Selected Association (MSA) and demanded immediate issuance of appointment orders here today.
While addressing media persons, President of the association Sanjay Kothari said that state government advertised posts, conducted interviews and brought out provisional selection lists. Kothari further stated that migrant candidates, who were selected, had left
their private jobs and source of income.
But till date, not even a single appointment order has been issued by state government, Kothari said. He appealed state government to immediately issue appointment orders to the selected migrant candidates. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Sanjay Koul, Krishnan Tickoo and Sunil Pandita.
