ABKM demands reservation on economical basis | Kshatriya Mahashabha seeks reservations | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 16: Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Mahashabha (ABKM) has demanded reservations in government jobs and educational institutions on economical basis instead of caste basis, here today. Addressing media persons here today, former union minister Digvijay Singh said that the Indian constitution provides ‘right of equality’, where there would be no discrimination with any person of India on the basis of caste, sex, religion and place of birth. He further said that unfortunately due to pressure of dominated, ruling caste and undue political pressure, repeated amendments were made in the constitution of India. Digvijay Singh also said that they would flag off nation wide Rath Yatra from Jammu to Kanya Kumari on October 17, 2010 from historical Amar Kshatriya Maha Sabha, Purani Mandi Jammu. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Mahender Singh Tanwar, Shashi Kant Pawar, Gulchain Singh Charak, Swami Surasha Nand, Suresh Singh and Swami Bal Mukandacharje Ayodhaya besides others.
