| Shastri School shines in taekwondo | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, October 16: Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School excelled in the recently held inter-school taekwondo competitions under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at MA Stadium, here.
The school won nine medals, including five gold and two silver in two different weight categories of under-14 and under-17 in both boys and girls sections.
Medal winners: Payal Gupta, Pritika Sharma, Vishali Pandey, Aman Sharma, Varinder Singh (all gold), Arjun Magotra, Mansi Dubey (both silver) and Sahil Sharma (bronze.
Meanwhile, Principal of the school, Sushma Gupta congratulated the medals winners and appreciated the efforts of the NIS qualified coach of the school, Rameshwar Singh Jamwal.
