| KPC, AMCCC to hold joint sit in to highlight KP problems | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 17: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) and All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) during a meeting held here today has decided to organize a joint dharna on October 22 in front of Governor House to highlight the problem of KP community. The issues to be put forth on the occasion include; economic package, compensation for traders, one time compensation of 25 lakh rupees for KP over aged youth, enhancement of relief up to 12000 rupees per month, appointment orders for selected youth in various departments under special employment package, compensation for traders, rent for the residential houses occupied by security forces, encroachment of temples and allied properties, construction of one room flats at Jagti instead of two room sets as was announced by Manmohan Singh. Both the parties during the meeting decided to work joint for long run for the cause of KP Community. Present on the occasion included Des Rattan- President AMCCC, Satish Pajnoo- state president KPC, P.N. Pandit- gen secretary KPC, Sheela Handoo, Kaka Ji Bhan, Satish Pandita, Ravinder, J.L. Pandit, A.K. Pandita and others.
