YMP appeals for support for Leh victims | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 17: Youth Movement for Peace (YMP) has appealed to all the public, political parties, administration, NGO’s, social organizations, religious organizations, press and media to support and help the victim children of Leh Flash Flood. In a press statement issued here today, Vikas Sharma president said, “YMP is always transparent and clear in doing all its work whether it is a small program or any initiative taken for helping the society. Moreover, our organization is purely a self-funding organization and during Leh tragedy, our team members had collected clothes, medicines, money, etc. from door to door, temples, petrol pumps, etc for helping Leh victims.” Sharma added, “We have full records of our working and accounts and no organization, missionary or political party is donating us any fund. Public is the witness of our work and dedication we have done for helping Leh people during Leh tragedy. If anybody blames us to be involved in Christianity conversions, he has to produce evidences and talk to us through law but not to uproar and beat the victim children or anybody else.” YMP further appealed to maintain peace and harmony and not to create any incidence which may give rise to communal riots.
