| Manjit reviews functioning of CAPD deptt | | |
JAMMU, OCTOBER 30
Minister of State for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution S Manjit Singh took stock of the functioning of the department at a meeting here today.
The meeting among others was also attended by supervisors of trade and stores, mills and tehsil supply officers of Jammu division.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister impressed upon the officers and field staff to further gear up their functioning to ensure availability of food-grains and other essential commodities to the people.
The Minister asked the area inspectors to conduct regular checking of the markets. He also emphasized upon the supervisors of mills for ensuring quality of atta being supplied to the consumers.
