JK Bank to facilitate entrepreneurs under SKEWPY | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Oct 16: Jammu & Kashmir Bank has taken up Sher-e-Kashmir Employment and Welfare Programme for Youth (SKEWPY) as a “mission” to carry the process to logical end. As a follow up measure, J&K Bank today constituted a special task force for speedy disposal of cases under ‘Sher-e-Kashmir Employment and Welfare Programme for the youth (SKEWPY). Task force would advise, counsel and guide prospective entrepreneurs beyond sanctioning and disbursement of credit. J&K Bank Chairman and CEO Mushtaq Uri announced this in a meeting held today at bank’s corporate headquarters in which Director EDI, M. I. Parray, Executive President Ajit Singh, Vice-presidents Abdul Rouf and Nayeemullah, were present. Mushtaq Ahmad said, “The Bank shall ensure that entrepreneurs of the state face no problems in timely finances once their Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) under SKEWPY get clearance from the relevant departments.” Chairman further said, “Policies of bank are driven by commitment to empower people in socio-economic sense. And we see huge resource to drive and lead this socio-economic model of development through entrepreneurship, efficiency and honesty”. Being the flagship company of the state we shall always be at the fore-front of addressing all the issues that fall within our operational domain. Mushtaq emphasized that the bank shall be partnering with the government’s economic initiatives for peoples empowerment, skill development and employment generation programmes.
