| Lecturers accord warm welcome to Lanker | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 17: All Jammu and Kashmir plus 2 Lecturer’s forum today welcomed new Commissioner/Secretary of the department and assured her whole hearted Co-operation.
In an impressive function organised by the forum in the premises of K.L Sehgal Hall, forum’s central leadership, district presidents of Jammu Region and about 200 delegates from across the province discussed overall scenario in the field of school education in general and Plus 2 component of education in particular.
The proceedings were conducted by General Secretary N.S Jamwal whereas the Key note address was presented by Vice-President of the forum Manmeet Bali. President of the forum H.D Qureshi while speaking on this occasion said that with the appointment of Naseema Lankar as Comm/Secy, long pending issues of the cadre will come on the agenda of the priorities in the department.
Naseema Lankar while speaking on this occasion assured the participants to accelerate regularization of in-charge incumbents. She also sought co-operation of the cadre at Senior Secondary Level for upgrading the standards of education. Zahida Khan (KAS) while speaking on the occasion strongly advocated for regularization and also appealed the Comm/ Secy for addressing the genuine issues of the cadre.
Others who spoke on the occasion include, Charan Dass, Manmeet Bali, N.S Jamwal, Ashwani Sharma, BD Sharma, Tara Chand Sharma, Aronesh Kumar, Imitiaz Kazmi, Rauf Dar, Raiz H. Mintoo, Anil Sharma, Verinder Dutta, Ravi Rathore, Uttar Kumar Khajuria and many others.
