| Mishriwala Club wins opening cricket tie | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 17: Mishriwala Cricket Club (MCC) won the inaugural tie in a cricket tournament beating Trans Cricket Club (TCC) by five wickets at Mishriwala on Jammu-Akhnoor road, near here today.
Convenor Panun Kashmir, Dr Agnishekhar declared open the tournament which is being organised by Khalsa Cricket Club under the supervision of Ashu Bhat and JB Singh.
Ashu Bhat, the organising secretary of the tournament said that sportspersons of the community in exile need someone to serve as a beacon light to guide and goad them in this grim atmosphere of banishment.
