| Cops arrested for murder of brother-in-law | | | JAMMU: Two policemen, who happen to be siblings, were arrested by police after the duo allegedly murdered their own brother-in-law after they had an argument with the latter in Batiya villagee of Poonch district.
The accused identified as Shahnawaz, Nawaz along with their father Mirza Din entered into an altercation with Mohmmad Sadiq, 55, in Batiya on Friday night, police sources said.
The deceased Sadiq, who was allegedly a polygamist, was brother-in-law of Shahnawaz and Nawaz.
Sadiq , who had married two women, was attacked with iron rods by the brothers and died on the spot, the police added.
The duo was arrested from Poonch and Jammu last evening.
