| Mystery shrouds cop's death | | | KATRA: A CRPF cop was today found lying dead under mysterious circumstances in a camp of 126 Bn at Mahore in Reasi.He was identified as B Chenna Naik. Police sources said when Naik did not wake up in the morning for his duty, some cops in the camp went to his barrack to enquire about him.
However, when they found him lying unconscious in the bed, they brought the matter to the notice of their seniors who immediately got him shifted to hospital.
In the hospital, he was declared brought dead by doctors. After post-mortem, the body was handed over to the cops who were accompanying it.
Police had registered a case in this connection and launched inquest proceedings. |
